I didnt think this setup was possible, but keen as to give it a go myself. already have prem ICC and amplified Ipod adaptor thingy majig so will get busy on finding a good CD/DVD player. The guys at the audio shop in canberra said it wasnt possible and I would have to loose the buttons on the steering wheel so they would be useless. Cheers for the clarification and good wriye up, any you guys keen to come to canberra and help intsall?? hahahahaha :nono:

go the acid rush lol I do have a certain friend in canberra that would like to see me come down that way again ;) lol but dont think id have the time and money.. it is possible by all means, obviously lol the local audio place were talking about wiring up the head unit to the speakers straight up which I know have mine set up like. Much better sound quality as its running straight off the head unit. But if u dont want to lose your steering wheel controls then the way this write up suggests would be a much better deicison for you. If your up newcastle way at some stage id be happy to help you out one day, for a cheap price of course lol but if your sort of comforable with wiring and electronics, print out my write up and go by it and u will be right buddy

Who told you in Canberra it wasn't possible? Speak to Pat at Super Audio in Phillip, he is familiar with my system and can supply everything though I had already sourced my JVC player.

Audiotech were painful when it came to headrest screens integrated into the original holder as I didn't want non ADR compliant aftermarket headrests, though that is easier so Super Audio did my headrest screens and wired up the rest. My sound goes through the Aux input so all controls and factory stereo works as normal, which I think is what you want.

Hi guys I'm still new at this but was wondering if anyone knows whether a second hand premium icc can work for this particular upgrade? Or is it only possible with a new icc from asl? Thanks guys. Great post too.
