Science only brings us as close as we can to "absolute truth" by testing hypotheses to establish a theory, never 100% of the way there. Scientific facts are never 100% sure, but as close as we can reasonably get and the predictive power of the same scientific facts can provide huge value. These same scientific processes and "scientific facts" refute YEC in a multitude of ways.
