Our average power is about $1200 a quarter in winter.... up to $1900 in summer then a huge pay on time discount coz j@ screwed them to the wall.

Min the new place we’re looking at solar plus Tesla batteries

admittedly there is only 2 of us, and we both work full time M to F

quarterly summer bill is around $650 (before solar installation)

I love the idea of getting off the grid but can't see myself living here for another 10 or 11 years(aprox time frame to break even on the batt according to my usage)

Negotiating a pay on time discount in the ACT of 25% for electricity and gas is pretty much the minimum you should expect. Tons of people don't seem to know that or bother - crazy considering a winter quarter gas bill (with ducted gas heating) can judge towards $2k.

Yeh SA gets pumped hard power wise but I’ve managed to get 36% discount for POT through Alinta energy, took a while to negotiate over many bills worth but got there finally !

Actually had SAPN come out the other day to see why our last 6 months bills has been for sub 1000kw/h’s as the house is not really being used due to being on the market and obviously thought the meter was being bypassed lol

they're bloody on it when you dont need to pay them anymore the cheeky fhruckerz

What's the go with the territory traction control? No skids at all with it on and even when it's off it still flashes up on the dash through first and second and clearly pulls power.

It's not really a traction control button. Its stability control. Even if you turn it off ford still pulls power to keep it in a straight line. You'll notice it won't pull power in the wet because all the wheels will be spinning the same speed.

Tldr

I've never driven a terrority or one in the wet, I'm making all this up because it sound like something I would design into a 4 tonne SUV that has a high center of gravity and likes to roll and squirm all over the road when fed power.

Buy a tesla
