I bought a kilo of almonds today and they weighed up at 1005 grams, before opening the bag. First thought was, bunch of tight arses but at least it's over a kg, and second thought was I'm gonna eat 50 grams. So I sat on the couch watching my mepisode and casually ate them until I got sick of them. I weighed the bag again and it came in at 955 grams. What are the chances? Customer asked for 3x 1kg bags of mince. Rather than use up the whole tray in the window display I grabbed three bags and headed for the big crate of mince in the cool room.Came back to the scales at the counter to check the weight of each bag. 1.000, 1.000 and 0.998.
