Enough for a stock rebuild. It's just another 2 or 3 days stuffing around so it's not the end of the world. I'm not ecstatic about it but sometimes you just gotta suck it up and move on with your life hey.

Yes and no. I always did manual labour before I looked after the kids so I was used to working long, hard and hot hours. Two or three long days won't kill me but I'll be glad when it's done.

I've got a extremely talented mechanic mate (who also works at a machine shop) with a workshop and hoist etc at his house, so if I'm in need of a hand I can always ask. I've got all the tools (minus machine shop stuff) here at my house for engine building as well.

Haha plus side is that there is heaps more ground clearance which means my fat arse can fit under the vehicle.

Morning farkers.

Sucks about the hassle, Puff...but at least you get a clean motor that you'll know what's been done to it afterwards. Should put some stronger bits in while you've got it open and then smash in some PSI :wwww:

Well, if you've gotta have the family car and need to rebuild the motor anyway...may as well make it a fast family car :wwww:

Lol that's what I mean. Nah gotta save some money to fix the falcon later in the year. Maybe a cheap set of rods, head studs, valve springs and oil pump gears but that's it. I already have that stuff here except the rods.

Oh wow that’s a bit average Puffy but on the flip side what would a “0” km TT go for these days ..... alot more than what it’s going to cost you to pull it out ( probably get away with a boar hone only and new std pistons and rings, gasket set, big end bearings ) put it back in with a fresh bill of health and odds n sods along the way

if that same bus was on the yard with a current receipt for such works anyone would pay upwards of 15k for that piece of mind.

You've probably just got the deal of the year buddy ;) especially if they’ve thrown you back 1.5-2k for the trouble !!!
