It's just another 2 or 3 days stuffing around so it's not the end of the world. I'm not ecstatic about it but sometimes you just gotta suck it up and move on with your life hey. I always did manual labour before I looked after the kids so I was used to working long, hard and hot hours. Two or three long days won't kill me but I'll be glad when it's done. I've got a extremely talented mechanic mate (who also works at a machine shop) with a workshop and hoist etc at his house, so if I'm in need of a hand I can always ask. I've got all the tools (minus machine shop stuff) here at my house for engine building as well. Haha plus side is that there is heaps more ground clearance which means my fat arse can fit under the vehicle.

Sucks about the hassle, Puff...but at least you get a clean motor that you'll know what's been done to it afterwards. Should put some stronger bits in while you've got it open and then smash in some PSI

You know how these things snowball. I wanted the falcon to get all the good bits but I'll just take it as it comes.

Nah gotta save some money to fix the falcon later in the year. Maybe a cheap set of rods, head studs, valve springs and oil pump gears but that's it. I already have that stuff here except the rods. You've probably just got the deal of the year buddy especially if they’ve thrown you back 1.5-2k for the trouble !!!
