It was my right shoulder so I used my left hand and I'm right handed so me old fella should be ok. :)

Probably having a look at a mate's Kia SUV tonight that has a clunking after taking foot off brake when stopped. Just had front brake pads replaced and noise started immediately after. Place that did the job had a look but sounded a bit useless and the problem remains.

I was planning to have a look at the bolts holding the caliper brackets to the suspension, checking and greasing the slide pins and maybe lubing where the pads slide. All with the proper brake products of course. Might also check pads are firmly in place and can't slip around. Could be loose wheel nuts too, but you'd hope not if the place had the car twice.

Any other immediate thoughts on cause? I'm going to assume it's not drivetrain or suspension related at first, given the issue arose after pad replacement.
