Man I gotta say there are some dodgy accommodations in the more remote areas.

The most unexpected gem was Wuddina. It was quite nice after staying at Cocklebiddy.
I drove through Wudinna once on the way to Ceduna. That is seriously in the middle of nowhere! Albury is big and on the main Syd-Mel route so no excuses.

Edit: Wudinna was nice though.

They didn't get the hint after you planned a camping trip during the worst weather in 50 years?

Forgot about that one! Not having much luck with travel arrangements lately.

Now I'm thinking how much better Psycho would be with Hotel California as the theme music

Either Psycho or Best Little Whorehouse in Texas (Burt Reynolds, Dolly Parton, Dom DeLuise??)

My offtopic query..

Got a "Nespresso" machine for Xmas, but love/need a large mug of joe without the fluffy milk.

Am playing with 2 shots, shot and a shot of water, 2 capsules etc.

Anyone found a magic combo to make an actual mug of coffee in the morning rather than a kiddie sized tea-set sip?

Grab worlds greatest dad mug @ 500ml.

Add 2 heaped tablespoons of instant coffee, 8 sweeteners, 300ml boiling water, 200ml full cream milk.

Sit back, load up the forum and type out coffee recipes. :spoton:

before I replaced mine with a delonghi dedica (normal coffee machine) I would put 3-4 pods through.  but for a while I was getting lungo pods and using two of them so that makes 220ml of coffee.

Sorry mate couldn't help meself.

I don't have your machine but I have made a few thousand cups of various types of coffee with a commercial machine.

The way to get the least amount of fluff is to keep the steam nozzle under the surface of the milk. There is more to it than that but that is the quick way to express the idea.

Huehuehue :aaggl:

Im not sure what the newer nespresso machines are like but I use 1 pod, 3rd button ( for most water) then make the milk up with out the magnetic circle thingy mcjiggy that fluffs the milk up.

We order the strong flavours and this does me ok.

Almost as good as nescafe blend 43 lol

That's what I'm after :)

Strong flavour with a lot of water?

Can make a great espresso and do the milk fine, roast and grind beans etc (expobar unit and behmor roaster)

Am after the big morning cup without the performance, but not nescafe blend 43.

Nespresso starts pouring after 30 seconds from when I push the button - just looking for the flavours, number of capsules and number of pulls for a good mug of coffee.
