Kids have been driving me nuts lately and it didn't help being hot af today. I went and bought them a new swing set today as a last minute xmas present and on the way home I was wondering why the hell I even bothered. They went silly in the shops and almost took out a bunch of wine bottles. Still, just cos they are a pita sometimes doesn't mean I'll deprive them of toys or fun but FARK ME!!! I did get some beer, rum and cider so maybe I can wind down a bit when they're in bed.

Spent yesterday and today jack hammering up a concrete path and a concrete slab that was the base of a bird avery. It was 120+ mm thick slab for a bird avery. Over engineering to the max.... That's crazy
Box stock T. Member 1,384 Member For: 9y 8m 23d Posted 22/12/17 08:15 AM Share Posted 22/12/17 08:15 AM Funny ya say that because the bloke who was helping me said the same thing about the hoist. Some parts were 150 mm thick. And it was good old fashioned concrete mix.The old "that doesn't look right, throw some more cement in there son" type of mix. Hard as fark... It was practically laughing at the Hitachi jack hammer...

Over engineering to the max.... 120mm is bsa requirements, id say it was a diy job done by the book haha, or maybe it was first poored for a water tank? Either way a farking fun time ripping it up. 9inch grinder a sledge hammer mite of worked quicker

Otherwise I wouldhave sliced and diced the fark out of it. He was to busy playing cars salesman with his new business venture instead of dropping stuff off to us. This thing was always an avery, the concrete was poured into the avery. It must have taken a full concrete truck to complete the pour..... 3 hours ago, k31th said: sounds like you should have stopped and put in a hoist, Adam The size of slab would have been perfect for a hoist for a go kart. I've got a go kart hoist! It's my left arm lifting the go kart and my right arm chucking an axle stand under it's arse!
