Anything (almost) is fine inside with either A/C or heater functioning correctly haha

I'll sit around in just a pair of shorts in that weather and soak up the goodness. My thermometer registered 48 last summer and that was face meltingly hot. I bought a massive wall unit reverse cycle aircon in winter and I don't know why the fark I didn't do it when I moved in. It's so friggin hot here in summer and still cold af in winter. Thinking about giving one a whirl. Edited 01/12/17 04:29 AM by tazzanz

This is my wall one and it is sweet. I reckon it cost about $15 a week to run for 8 to 14 hours per day. It's a bit pricey to start with but warms and cools a 30m2 room in a few minutes, including bedrooms near it. I have two of these and honestly they struggle with cooling nearly 50m3 which is our bedroom size. They're good but if you have a 4x4m room and the ceiling is nealy 3m then it'll be flat out. They do the job for that size but barely.

It looks small in the pic but weighs nearly 70kg and needed some creativity to get above waist height. I eventually used my engine crane to get it in and onto a stand that I made from some Bunnings bought 2x4. We had an old swamp unit aka evap aircon in the wall and it filled the same hole nearly spot on so got lucky there. It was something that I considered before purchase though.
