I must have the origins setting configured so it doesn't update automatically. Edit: Yep the client update was enabled but game updates weren't. All fixed! You can totally disable Win10 updates entirely, I have on mine after it killed my soundcard the morning of my housewarming party. Just stop the Windows Update service and set it to disabled! I think that's what I did anyway.
