What an absolute winner:

“Get the f*** off the road or I’ll run you over!”

I love the way he's a big man until the cyclist grabs him and then he goes all "Sorry, I'll pay for it etc."

Perth drivers don't know the rule about keeping 1 metre between yourself and a cyclist, which is why I predominantly keep to the paths.

When I rode a bike I always preferred to stick to footpaths, one slip up on the road by you or them and you're under a wheel.  No thanks.  Much prefer the rare chance of hitting a car moving out from behind a blind driveway wall and take a spill over the bonnet!  Dent in their panel I have to pay for is better than a serious injury.

I agree, however compared to how much room some bicycle lanes take up - council's don't seem to have any coherent rules on lane design, I've seen the basic paint a white line segregating cycles from the regular road users and she'll be right (which I'm happy with) to 2 metre's of road going missing thanks to some bright spark thinking 30cm of concrete between the bike lane and road way for cars and cutting the road from 2 lanes each way to 1 only - it's about the simplest thing drivers can do before some government desk jockey goes too far and mandates something stupid to solve the problem of sharing roads.
