I put on a second one and same thing, then it ripped off at Racewars 2013 and I just tore it off and threw it away. Haven't had one since. I would like some sort of replacement made in aluminium I think, just a nice flat bit. Would be good to get the whole underside covered/smoothed out for improved aero but that's a pipe dream.

Posted 09/12/16 05:24 AM Share Posted 09/12/16 05:24 AM I remember years ago a workmate made an under engine tray from thin plywood or similar. When we reversed out to go for Friday drinks one day, it had fallen off and the rest of us thought it was left there to stop oil drips on the garage floor, until he picked it up and put it in his boot.

Mine flew off too one day. How fast were you going when it came off?

It literally just occurred to me that I need to adjust my wg duty cycle so it stays shut for a bit longer. It is still set for the smaller turbo. #facepalm.
