If it doesnt hurt much it means its deep and has numbed your nerves from the damage... go to the docs get it dressed properly.. they will give u a silver cream.. its amazeballs for burns....

I got a 3rd degree jobby on my hand when some bright spark put a soldering iron on the vice grip while I was an apprentice. That was not fun

I think the problem has solved itself.

Took the phone in to the Police, lodged a lost & found report with the note about my report, where the phone was found etc. and got raised eyebrows & a few comments from the unsworn officer I was dealing with.

Went to the Telstra shop with the photo of the SIM no. & IMEI on the back of the phone but they quite rightly said they can only update notes on a service or device with the owner present, due to privacy requirements (which I expected) then headed to the local library to print flyers with the photos of the phone, which station it is at & the Police report number.

Whilst putting up the flyers a guy noticed them & said it was his one he had lost. So I told him how I found it, where I found it & how I thought it might be related to my car having bits pinched & how by lodging it the way I did, the Police might think it's related.

He didn't say anything but I could see the light bulb go off. Guess what he drives?

A little too coincidental considering it's an earlier model but also Lightning Strike.

Take his plates, go get a tank of fuel then return the plates...

Even if it wasnt them, u get a free tank and some satisfaction lol

Not with CCTV around, besides that's an a**hole thing to do to the poor servo staff, I could never knowingly damage another person's stuff, it's not me, I feel guilty enough having to work on Managers PC's in their office when no-ones around.

I'm more likely to stew over something or vent on forums where I can be reasonably anonymous :)

However other members of my family are not like that, which is why I tend to be more careful about certain situations when they are around, in my book talking to someone about a situation and telling them politely why something isn't a good idea is my first choice everytime.  One of them worked collections for a while, he does the talk first too but at 6 foot 4 and built like the proverbial brick dunny (plus he does kickboxing) people tend to listen.
