not much power, skinny tyres, rear wheel drive with weird weight distribution = fun to turn hard into corners and just powerful enough to slide around corners at low speed. Otherwise they're an average A to B car. (unless of course you like how it looks - which is completely subjective)

drove my mate gt 86 and it was such a good little car. the manual gear box is so good to. great alround little car. it beat the gt rspec around a track in wheels mag. handling is so impressive. lots of after market mods going on them to.. supercharged, turbo charged or even both. look at the yank seen. massive mods seen.

I thought they were too difficult to do too much to with the stock engine due to the really high compression ratio..

Most of the turbo kits I've seen in australia yield less than satisfactory bang for buck.. (In my eyes.. I'm thinking one of these cars needs to be 220rwkw to start being fun)..

First thing is u REALLY just have to want one

Then u can talk your self into the rest , not my top pick but if that's what she wants she can have it

Lifes to short to not like what u drive IMHO

Now looks like AVO have there stage 1 turbo kit on sale for $4200, its full bolt on with an ecuTEK licence so it can be tuned

Takes it from 105rwkw to 165rwkw on 5-7psi

That AVO kit sounds good.. The last one I saw in a magazine only took it to around 125 on 5psi..
