It'd kind be urgent too I guess...fairly big detour around that gap in the road.

Engineering wise is it a bigger job given the earths been stirred up a bit?

Pretty amazing that the fuel/anfo mix was perfect and able to go off. Anfo goes off with a hell of bang when it does (we use it for blasting of Iron Ore) but it's not the easiest stuff to set off unless the fuel anfo ratio is perfect and it get hit with a pretty big whack to set it off.

Job just came in. Gotta fix a bridge..

Fertiliser mixed with diesel fuel when a truck rolled over Corzza.

Geezez!!!!

I guess they didnt know what the call out was because it is common sense 101 that you stay well clear when fuel and fertilizer are in the equation.....

Charleville residents (25km away) thought it was an earthquake. And yeah last I heard the truck driver is still in a coma and two of the firies in hospital with severe hearing damage.

Apparently they went in there knowing what they were up against but were determined to get the driver out. Deadset fckin heroes.

Ralphy is spot on.. To get the right blend and the bang to set it off is pretty rare..

The bang was heard over 40kms away.. So yeah pretty loud..

First priority is to get traffic flowing and side tracks in place.. Crew moves out tomorrow..
