A whole bunch of potential issues with out drilling schedule came up around lunch time yesterday, a few hours before a was due to fly home. Joys of the scheduling, geotechnical and senior engineers being offsite all weekend. Naturally I spent the afternoon working through alternative drill sites with the scheduling and geotech engineers. Finally figured timing and locations out, but now I need to adjust a bunch of my stuff and give that back to the scheduling engineer for him to use in the Q2 forecast this week. Just the laptop shifts..Work from home a fair bit.. Especially at nights..But I do prefer being in the office as it puts me in the headspace for actually working.. Our board in London has habit of asking for significant fanatical forecasts by COB friday, on a monday morning.I'm quite lucky that my boss understands the workload and allows me to carry out this work from home. The hour a day travel time saved and the ability to carry on after dinner in the evening etc adds ups to a fair whack of time over a week and allows me to punch the work out.I need to keep it in check tho cause it's easy to loose track of time when I'm locked away in the office at home.SDP, the only issue I have is the bloody reciever for my home mouse/keyboard. I always forget to remove it from the laptop when I undock it.I've tried to find a USB switch without success.

Easiest way..But the IT guy here has put a couple other blokes onto receivers that can handle multiple devices.. So you have two receivers plugged in.. and it picks up whichever keyboard/mouse is closest to it.. I can chase the brand up if you like Ralph? Just got corrected by the IT guy..Apparently to solve the issue they went to Bluetooth Keyboards and mice.. The receivers are just bluetooth receivers and once the device is paired they will always pick up when in range..
