Well, we did it!

Have just put a deposit on a house.

Now all the fun begins, Get ready for the twice daily phone calls to the lenders \ estate agent \ solicitor \ revenue office etc... But it is truely worth it in the end... And you'll have to let us know when the house warming is

Just quickly, watch that the revenue office gets things through on time, they nearly stopped our settlement going through because they didn't feel like stamping and signing papers through on time and I was still chasing things up the day before settlement with them (I was calling every half an hour mind you) and each time they gave the usual public servant response...

There will be a housewarming alright, and it will be on our beautiful concrete floors as the house package doesn't include floor coverings or window treatments, but I hear polished concrete is the new black darlink
