Don't forget to take a deep breath and think about how lucky you are to have a healthy wife and bub and how fantastic it really is.

Don't sweat the details they will sort themselves out

Morning all.

Well first off BIG congrats Biz and glade that Biz mum and Biz Jr and daddy Biz are doing well.

Don't stress biz it could be something minor as to his ear just hasn't developed fully yet and well come good as times goes by.

My son (3 at the time) eye sight was tested at his day care and they rang us told us to get down there asap. They told us his eye sight was bad high end of the scale pretty much blind..WTF!! We had no Idea he learnt and adjusted to pick up things and see people play with other kids and watch TV.

We did what ever it took and cost to get it sorted wearing eye patches everyday to make his bad eye stronger. His 8 now wears glasses all the time plays sports all year round rides bikes skate boards all sorts of stuff he has about 2K worth of glasses a pair he wears all the time a spear pair if those break a pair for sports and a pair for swimming and with all of that his hand writing is 10x neater than his sister and the best player on his soccer team.

Our children are amazing mate things will be just find. again congrats and hope pixy Jr storey helped.

hey Biscuits , congrats mate. Be sure things will work out ok.

Both of my best mates parents were both deaf from birth.( talking 80+now)

Not disabled, barely an inconvenience, good careers, sporting accolades

raised a family and live a very good retirement. Converse via lip reading

This is the very worst case scenario of what can be achieved. Medicine has come

a long way since ( if indeed even needed longer term)

BTW make sure when you are waiting for the family to come home

give dogger a few extra pat's you will both feel better.

The old man has spent 1000's on hearing enhancements , never uses them.

I reckon he just enjoys shouting at me lol
