Don't think I'll go to coles..

Company has decided to 'BREAK DOWN THE WALLS' and go more open plan.. So Aside from one or two higher up and the payroll lady there will be no offices..

Which means people can see my monitors.. which means I can't play diablo 3 at work anymore..

I work in an open place office at the moment, just order a couple of screen privacy filters and you'll be fine.

Wait until you feel the full impact of people talking on the phone and standing desk side complaining about who beat who on MKR. I literally sit with my noise cancelling earphones in for 3/4's of the day to avoid the annoying phone call oversharing and general gibberish.

I'm concerned I may be the type of person that will one day go postal over this sort of shit, but on the other hand I think they kind of deserve it.

My office is sort of open planned, but I got to decide where I put my desk/screen.

I can't exactly play Diablo 3 at work, but at least I can view Dags's NSFW threads

Not a lot corzza.

Took my car in to get the DVD headrest fix. there is power but wont turn on. This should be fun as ive had issues before regarding the dvd system (is what the dealer said) which was fitted by the dealership before I picked the car up.

Warranty!! seeing ive only had the car for about 14 months. Ill post update this arvo.

I've got a corner office and all the noise from the open plan area just funnels right to my door for some bizarre reason. Great for catching up on all the goss but annoying as fck when trying to concentrate. Thankfully my ex taught me how to tune-out.

Rukey make sure you have a webcam or something setup to capture you going nucking futs - would be brilliant to see

I need a new office. Open plan is rubbish.

I've been auditing production's work the last few weeks too so they already have it in for me! ISO 9000 and whatever standards just means more paperwork. Quality of work stays the same!

Haha I've loved the ability to just shut the door when I actually need to get work done..

I hated the overly loud personal phone calls when I was in the gumbyment.. Gonna be interesting to see how this works out though.. Because quite a significant team in the offices (who are about to lose their offices) are working on some stuff we aren't allowed to talk about until the client goes public with the information.. Which is funny because another portion of the office is working for a group of the tenderers on the job and they have no idea what goes on on our side of the wall..

Though my biggest problem with open plan will mean that I'll probably lose my 3 bookcases and other bastards will be able to get to all my manuals..
