Yeah - I know what you're saying.

Reading it makes me sound like a queasy woos, but I'm more than happy to eat just about anything - regardless of where/how it comes - except rice custard, that stuff makes me want to heave.

What is it about poultry and Maori's - seems like a pre-requisite around here to working in a chook processing factory.

On that note things must have changed at coles a bit over the years? Back in my day the bakers at coles were making all coles bread and cakes.. It was things like donuts/crossaints that were coming in prepackaged frozen.

I know 99.9% of bakery things that come in my store are frozen apart from cinnamon donuts which are made fresh daily. The loafed bread and pita breads are also fresh daily, but they are outsourced and come already made. I know most new store have butchers, fish mongers and open bake houses so maybe they make some things fresh?
