Had a small bingle and the tow truck has left a hole about the size of a fist in my sump!

Let me guess, it's not his problem?

Haven't spoken to the towie yet Corzza. It was just like that when I went to see the car at the panel beaters.

About a week ago tab. Would have had the car back by now if it was just the panels that were being repaired.

Insurance organized the tow so I'm waiting on them to get things moving. Panel beaters have been really good from the get go but they've told me the car was started post sump damage as they didn't know about it until they saw the oil light (engine had no oil left in it) on in the dash.

Guessing engine would be kaput now. Doubt they'll throw a new one in so my guess would be it's a write off.

Fark. Nobody noticed the 7-odd litres of engine oil pooled underneath it then I take it.

If they shut it down immediately it'd be OK...I'm betting that didn't happen though.

Very suspicious IMHO.

Hopefully they have some answers for me this week as I'd like to know if I should be looking for a new car!

You've never worked with first year apprentices?
