I Never carry anything in my car, only at the start and end of a job, but just put timbers accross or build boxes and chuck ya sh*t in there, doesn't move around at all

what do you do jd?

I'm a fitter and turner - but now work for a big bearing company doing condition monitoring and mechanical jobs for them. Currently on a training course which is why I finished so early.

The thermal imaging (infrared) camera we have rocks, if you set the sensitivity right you can see detailed footprints on a floor where you have just walked. It's a big heavy fooker though so not the most comfortable thing to hold for a 12hr shift. Yet to score a job hanging out the side of a chopper checking powerlines, I'm still too low on the foodchain for that. More likely to spend my time in the stern cavity of a ship, laser aligning the prop shaft to the gearbox or walking along an overland conveyor in the middle of nowhere checking drives and bearings with the vibration analysis gear. Sometimes it's cream, sometimes it's killer but hey if it was easy it wouldn't be called work.

That he aint mate. At one stage he was but has slowly faded.

Plenty of young blood rearing to get into the team.
