nice one Ani looks good.Sooooo how does it go whats good , bad indifferent etc :sofa:

First day impressions, after 120kms:

Good

- handles like a mini-Falcon (control blade IRS with a few sporty tweaks)

- vision out the front

- 17" alloys :spoton:

- leather dash and wheel, which is heaps better looking than the falcon

- illuminated window switches

- parking

- PULP is the recommended fuel

Bad

- its not a turbo

- vision out the back (and rear view mirror too small)

- there is no console thing between the seats, so nowhere to put my CDs etc...

- manual has stuff about a trip meter, DTE, fuel economy part of the dash, and there is a space on the dash for it, but its not listed as an option in the brochures or on the Ford web site :spoton:

- its not a turbo

Indifferent

- layout of dials and buttons etc on dash

- dash lighting is 'radiation' green

- its obviously much more cosy inside, with the passenger much closer to you. (haven't tested the back seat yet )

- Seats are ok even for someone my size, but they wouldn't want to be any smaller

- there is a fire extinguisher strapped to the floor right in front of the passenger seat :kissmy:

Annie, you forgot one:

- economy of 8lt per 100km

Although it doesn't have much on the T, I'm sure it will do the job and be better in the Sydney traffic if nothing else. So, any plans for it - are you keeping it stock or is there a chip waiting to go on?

Trent.

If anyone knows of some unobtrusive mods, I might just consider (even though its leased). Perhaps a V8 conversion kit?

not Ani
