Now for all you miserable Kents out there on a Saturday night, let me tell you about Buf's adventure to the tip today.

Spent all day yesterday pruning , breaking up dead branches etc ( big farkers ) and arranging nice piles around the yard for removal to the dump.

Other than a few lacerations, sore hamstrings and a few interesting insect bites the day went well.

Pick up a Nissan Navara caged ute this morning and proceeded to start loading it , quickly realising that 2 trips were probably going to be necessary.

Being a tight arse I had only hired it for 3 hours Clearly under pressure by this time I proceeded to jump up and down to compress the load to do it in one hit. More lacerations to the legs. 31 degree temps and the sweat seeping into said lacerations certainly spurred me on for a quick conclusion for this particular exercise.

All loaded and off to the tip feeling that I had saved a bit of coin all good thus far.

Start unloading realising I have only 40 minutes to off load all the sh*t, refuel and return the ute to the rental place.

Clear enough space to get in the cage and and proceeded to pick up all I could separate and lift at a time.

Making serious progress by this stage, more lacerartions FTW. Gloves also left at home.

So focussed was I, I failed to take note of the sprinklers deployed to minimise dust.

Heaving up the mother load to pitch it into the pit, silly ole Buf slips during mid throw, and tumbles with full momentum

off the back off the ute landing heavily on the safety rail with his right thigh and left tricept taking all the impact.

Narrowly missing going head long into the pit where the tractor thingee was busy scooping up dumpings for further processing

I reckon the kent was laughing as well

Sunglasses and FPV cap dissapear into the abyss, I fear they will never be recovered

Bleeding and bruised under enormous time pressure I hightailed it out of there to off load the ute.

Deadline met. Dollars saved, painful shower and a few Feral Chooks , we will see what tommorrow brings.
