My tame computer nerd told me I can add wireless at any time for about the same price as the difference between the wireless and wired modems. Anyway, with computers it's a big mistake to buy more than you need now because something much cheaper and better will be available in 6 months.AND THE NETWORK JUST STARTED WORKING - as soon as I abandoned the 60 pages of detailed instructions, had a few reds and took a few punts. I'm starting to think XP professional is too smart to be a legit MS product - seems to respond to an intuitive approach.To get back off topic, I'm glad you're no longer talking about underpowered mercs.
