What makes a car a street car? I reckon if it's registered and you can drive it on the street without it overheating, it's a street car.

Ordinary cars will get an immediate defect for bald tires if they are stopped and checked. Risk of defect doesn't define a street car imo.

Things like 50psi of boost, a roll cage, nitrous, 4 link rear end, methanol fuel, 8 second capable on the street are some of the the contentious issues.

 

Bald tyres on stock cars has never been a talking point in the street car vs race car debate.

simple definition, if it can be registered and you drive it on the street, it's a street car :) more power more better!

I asked the missus what constitutes a street car and she said exactly that. If it can be registered and driven on the street, it's a street car.

 

Ha that was a short lived debate lol
