Direct Freight have now closed all investigations into the parcel because they do not cover "lost or stolen goods". But they refuse to answer my questions about reimbursing me for the parcel that was incorrectly delivered. I told them the package has likely been stolen as a consequence of the incorrect delivery, but they are saying it doesn't matter, because it was stolen.
