I run whatever 98 whenever... it's all fine :) maybe you've just pushed your N/A tune a little hard on 98 haha.

Something you learn as a tuner is you make less power by going too far, there is literally no point trying to add too much timing. It's simply a case of Shell being sh*t compared to BP.

perhaps... the thing that annoys me most is the $$ extra for premium fuels... used to be +6c for 95 and +10c for 98... hasn't been that way for a long time and is barely worth getting a 98 tune for how little power my car actually makes haha... might get a E10 tune or something haha.

Yeah it's like 20c a litre more for 98 here. There was a skid factory video where they used E10, it made more power than 98 due to the cooling effect of the ethanol. Haven't tried it myself with a barra but there might be something in it?!

You obviously can't lean on it super hard, but you can definitely do it. We'll see if I ever get around to learning how to tune or even getting a tune on mine haha... too complacent.

You know once you start you won't want to stop right?! One minute you're adding 2 psi so you can keep the stock injectors, nek minute you find an oil leak an BAM, built engine :roflmbo:

will probably wash my car today as well as get a haircut... boost on the way and back seems like a win :) irrelevant of how bad the tune is in my car on 98 haha

All the stuffs and if the car is fun man, the car is fun, regardless of how much power it makes :happyfriends:

 

I'm just gonna do a workout, complain about it cos I'm getting a cold, and I suppose a car wash is in order too. If I get really excited I might replace the thermostat, more than likely wont though :hrmm:
