Superdan Well-Hard Bangin' Member Member 3,422 Member For: 17y 4m 9d Gender: Male Location: Perff, WA Posted 02/12/07 02:22 PM Share Posted 02/12/07 02:22 PM (edited) I hate to disagree shaz, but I was thoroughly disappointed with rising. the silence of the lambs, red dragon and hannibal were all great movies within themselves and held there own as part of a trilogy that simply amazed me. rising for me was a waste of a movie, not neded, I believe there was no need to attempt to delve into the mind of Hannibal, and the poor effort of creating a background to make this brillant yet evil mind come to life was not worth the budget. if you want a good movie with so many different genres all bundled into one, then the prestige is for you; magic, psychological thriller, twists (like no other I have seen, then end is absolutely mind blowing!!!) love interests, moral dilemas (seriously, if you watch it properly, it will make you question what you really believe in!! you will doubt your own morals and where you stand with... I won't say anymore)pS, I'm approaching the end of my sixth viewing of 'The Prestige' now, hence the enthusiasm!!
