Just managed 0-100kph in 6.97secs measured with G-Tech with the new clutch and LSD fitted. But it still feels slow. I want a XR6T :crybaby:

LOL I doubt the accuracy of these things, seeing as it has to be measured on level ground ect

Apparently they were tested at the drags and they are 1 to 2 trenths accurate. Its all good this car will have to do me until the new model ford comes out when I will get myself a new XR6T. Well that's the plan anyway. I have to say though these dunlops really are a piece of :pooh: and I only drive an NA which doesn't have that much power but just trying to launch the car aggresively results in a decent amount of wheel spin and the tail hanging sideways. But I suppose its good in a way because hanging the tail out is always fun.

This sounds nasty but try slipping your clutch a bit more, you will find that if you get the car sligtly moving on street tyres a bit boot full just after is moving and extend the clutch fully you will hook up much better. Wheelspin and axel tramp aint a good thing :pooh:

Doesn't sound nasty at all mate. Thanks for the advice. I just don't want to cook the clutch that's all. Will try again using this method. Wasn't getting any axel tramp though. I was launching at about 3000rpm and then feeding the power on as quick as I could. Sometimes a little too quick which resulted in some nice black stripes being left behind.

fair enough, its a fine balancing act, but I found a little clutch slip just to get the car moving before you release the whole onslaught of power is the quickest way out in the traffic light GP.

what clutch you running, I know its a mal woods item, but wat item is it?
