Finished work and decided to stop in and buy some groceries on the way home. While I was at Woolies I found two petrol discount coupons as well as the legitimate one I got with the groceries. Come back to car and I had a $155 Parking Ticket. After a few choice words to myself I chucked the groceries in the car and stormed off home. Decided to have a quick look on the internet to see if there was any interesting stuff been posted on the forum. XR6T.com is pretty quiet so I try another forum (yes, there are other forums! ), it is quiet as well, and out of boredom I browse their Market section, not looking for anything in particular, just looking aimlessly. One guy on their is giving away some EL Fairmont mags. Just the thing to put on my XF ute to make it look a bit nicer. Probably in FNQ or WA or other remote place thousands of kms from me. I read further and he is in Canberra. Hmmmm. Look at post date/time and it was yesterday arvo, there's a remote chance the guy still has them, so I send him a PM with my phone number. 20 mins later the phone rings and it's the wheel guy. He still has the wheels and lives in the next suburb! 10 mins later I'm the proud owner of a new second-hand set of wheels. No gutter rash and two of the tyres are still in VGC.After scoring the wheels I decided to treat myself to a few cans of Bourbon and Coke.
