Ross all that time in the public service must have made you lethargic in everything you do. :spoton:

Whenever I go to the car wash I do it with the pressure hose $2 high pressure soap to get most of the dirt off, then the foamy brush. (clean brush with high pressure hose before use, in case the last b@stard to use it left it full of dirt)

Rush about covering the whole car with bubbles before the time runs out then go back over and clean it at your leisure.

Another $2 to rinse it all off.

The laser wash starts at about twice that and will only clean a CLEAN car. If its too dirty it just comes out the other side dirty and wet. :tease:

But I do perffer to do the job at home on the lawn with my Meguires wooley mit. :spoton:

I've heard about the way you've "looking after" :pooh: your car so far Alex so I might give your reccomendations a wide birth! :fool: I wouldn't use the car was brush if you paid me, regardless of how well it was cleaned before hand. :pooh:

I can really only wash my car at home on the driveway which is technically illegal with current water restrictions. :fool:

that's even more of a reason to come to melbourne. We can wash our cars with a nozzle :spoton:

A bit far to drive just for a car wash. :pinch:

I dare say it would be cheaper just to pay the $14 and use the Laser Wash in Canberra! :spoton:

Technically, you'd be incorrect.

You can wash your car in any driveway, as long as you use a bucket and/or a trigger hose. Believe me, id know! I have bastard neighbours!

Here's a link for you to read up on steggles, there will be a comprehension test at 10am tomorrow....http://www.actew.com.au/restrictions/

Even though technically it doesn't mention it in your link I believe the car needs to be washed on the lawn or nature strip not a hard surface such as concrete driveway.

I'm too busy for trivial tests anyhow, maybe you can ask other office staff instead, some seem to have plenty of spare time...
