@Puffwagon I went for a tune with gtx 3582 gen2 today, got 432kw at 5800rpm and 867nm at 3575rpm at 17.7psi, 20psi at 3350 till 4400rpm then tapers off to 17.7. Anyway all was good on dyno. I drove away and check engine light came on and could only get 5psi boost and on light cruise car surges from 10IN-Hg to 5IN-Hg. Went back to tuner checked codes. P0236 and P0238 Turbocharger/supercharger boost sensor A circuit range/performance (current) and circuit high (current). What do you reckon? Is the map/boost sensor on the inlet manifold? Should I replace that sensor? Whats the one 9n the throttle elbow?

The boost sensor is the one in the pipe and it's called a boost sensor. The one in the manifold is called a tmap sensor. The tmap is suitable for up to about 22.5psi. Both of these can be upgraded although in your case it isn't needed.

If you're aiming for 20psi of boost you should have used a 12psi gate spring and you wouldn't see it drop off so much up top.

If check engine light is on because of boost sensor problem would that be causing surging problem at steady throttle light cruise? I see IMS sell 4 bar boost sensor for barra. Iv read to do it properly retain stock tmap sensor to keep good low rpm driveability and upgrade to 4 bar boost sensor to tune it properly. Is this true?

Surging at low rpm cruise can be a number of things but having a light on from the boost sensor going out of range isn't one of them. I can guess at a number of things but not much point, you need to log and or scan the car to see what the issue is.

The 4 bar boost sensor is designed to work with PCMTec, you can switch from the tmap to the boost sensor at a given voltage level to increase the amount of boost you can run. HP tuners don't offer this, it is custom code that PCMTec have written that changes the factory PCM slightly.

Just get them to change the max boost sensor voltage and you should be sorted.
