in high school I did BASIC language coding on my TI-83 calculator haha... this is definitely the start of my inspiration to enjoy coding... then I learnt Java for my first OOP stuff and since then I've learnt countless languages and protocols... my logical brain enjoys programming :)

In high school only coding I did was trying to decode the girls hahah I got kicked out and got told I was gonna amount to nothing..... eventually ended up as an engineer 😂

I remember my science teacher in year 12 told my mum at one them "sit down with the teachers to see how your kid is going" things that I wasn't smart enough to be an engineer.
It was what I was planning to study at uni. Actually told my mum that uni wasn't the best fit for me.

3 years working as a junior electronics engineer and final year of study at uni. Guess it gave me more drive to prove him wrong lol.

Next contract and position already settled at work to become a graduate hardware engineer too, happening at the end of the year once I've graduated.

F*ck you Science teacher.

Side note, he was also a lacrosse ref, and used to ref games I played in. People used to call him Kim. Not sure why, but it realllly pissed him off 🤣

Long story short, dude was a grumpy old man and such a c*nt

haha it's so easy to pigeon hole people as teachers/coaches, I think... he's probably taking all of his life frustrations out on the things he can't control, e.g. the kids :roflmbo:
