Actually fulcrum suspensions, who apparently work with/own superpro? Bit confused on that part but he's helping me so I can't complain. Here's his email to me after explaining my situation: ------ Hi Alex, Sorry to hear you’ve had a bit of strife relating to this. Usually our warranty process involves inspecting the units and going from there, however in circumstances such as yourself, being on the other side of the country, we will often try to get as much information from the customer before they take the parts out, to try and make life easier for you. In this case I would happily go into bat to help you out, what I’ll need you to do is resend spares box the video and photo evidence you have, but CC myself in as well. That way I can explain to them that whilst our process is what we try to adhere to, we make exceptions for customers like yourself. The delay they advised may have been due to the fact that at the time of your enquiry, we were showing nil stock. However a large batch of arms have arrived now which I can ship right away, so the delay time they advised will be much shorter. I can see my Melbourne DC have a set so that would be the fastest way to get them out to you. We can have the R & D team inspect the video and photos to see if there is a warrantable issue there, and if the evidence is strong enough we can organise a new set for you and get the old ones back. There is no need to charge a second set at this stage. What we would like to do is inspect the evidence you have, judge if it is covered, and then go from there. Let me know if you need anything further, or if you have any questions or concerns. ------- I have sent the video that Rob sent me to him and to sparesbox. Going to rob after work to get a signed statement saying "c*nts f*cked - signed MT". Superpro are willing to deal with this via photo, video, and other evidence before I even have to send anything away. So much more convenient >

Opened my emails to find this at the top. From Superpro Sales Rep: ---- Normally with warranty stuff we recommend going back through the business you purchased them through, but in this case I’m happy to fix something up directly for you to get us all out of trouble. Kieran, my warranty team confirmed there is excessive ball joint play in the arms which shouldn’t be happening, and they want me to organise a new set for Alex. To make things easier and faster what I will do is organise a new set supplied under warranty, so there is no need to charge a second set to Alex. I will organise the faulty arms to be collected and brought back to us, and we can process the warranty on them from there. ----- Kieran is from Sparesbox Edited 04/08/21 12:25 AM by biddie_fiddler Who is Kieran?

Seems like its going to be a good day! Better than yesterday, started the morning by dropping my glass coffee cup, full of coffee 🤦♂️ As for my brother, wee update. Rob has pulled apart the motor, he's concerned that the motor has been pulled apart before. He said the rods and pistons look like they've done 20,000km not 90,000km and there are clear honing marks on every bore that are not from factory. He suspects the rods and pistons have been replaced before. Also there was sealant around the head gasket that doesn't match what came out of the factory. The car was dealer used, with no history of issues when my brother bought it. Seems like it would have been a home job repair on the motor. He also found sh*t in the sump that had been making its rounds in the motor. Number 6 rod is bent, and bore is damaged past repair. I think my brother is going to sell the car 😥

I haven't seen the photos of this yet, though. Also, Honing and re-sleeving sounds (to me) like its more expensive than getting a 2nd hand block 😋
