G'day carnts
Trying to get the ute all sorted before Christmas, it's due for a good once over.

Ordered a new front bumper because the current one is shagged. Ford charge about one kidney for it f me 1350......

Will be getting the tailgate debbadged and welded up whilst it's at the panel beaters.

Just gotta get the pump wiring sorted that I've been avoiding for ages. Friggin batteries dead so I guess that's become a job for after work this week. Fun.

Hopefully it looks the goods in a few weeks.

seems like you've got a bit of work on your hands there :)

also seems like you got out of the "new bumper" purchase reasonably cheaply, considering I've heard they go for more than $2k... (possibly was FPV variants rather than XR6T variants).

F6 was over 2600, asked out of curiosity.
Why, a Hilux or camy bumper is under $600.
Pissweak on Ford's part

Difficult to get FPV F6 body parts now.  Luckily 10 years ago I bought several complete sets both BF and BA

Yeah, a new BF FPV cover is around $2,600 trade price. And every piece associated with completing the bar (except bezels) is over $600 a pop. I have 3 new bars hanging from the roof of my shed. As these things will be rare as all buggery when they become obsolete. Which I believe to be VERY soon. We'll see a lot of written of FPV's once this happens...

I got an aftermarket FG bar through a Ford wrecker here. Having had both the factory one and the aftermarket one on and off a few times, I honestly can't see any quality or fitment differences. Was about $300.
