When I was larger previously I had a home blood pressure monitor and recorded my readings. Diet was terrible and as I lost weight and ate better my blood pressure went down to normal.

Either way I should be exercising regularly - but walking etc means extra time I need to factor into my day. Riding would eliminate that, essentially.
If you've got that history then it sounds like your doc knows what is up.

As you say though, dropping weight is a good thing regardless.

Yeah, I guess it's more that I need to make more longer term choices, rather than try quick fixes.

Heck no. Well I guess it's time to bust out myfitnesspal and start losing weight ay?!

Yup. GF ordered hello fresh for dinners - so that'll help us eat healthier in the egg evenings at least.

What all these^ guys said

But buy a bike for sure cos cool...

Are you into riding other than fitness/transport? I mean would you throw it in the vtec and head out to what you guys call hills in Perth for a burn on the weekend?

Or are you a road bike sorta guy

I used to be when I was younger. Not a "road bike sorta guy", but would probably buy an endurance road bike for commuting as it'd be a whole lot easier doing 30km  on a road bike than a mountain bike. Did enjoy doing some downhill riding though.

Have a hard tail mountain bike with road tyres for getting to work when I lost my license.
Was great for the 12-15km trip depending which way I went.

Just booked in a dentist appointment since I'm pretty sure my lower wisdom teeth are crowding up the rest.

Its's the only place I've ever been, out of interest I asked when my last visit was... top wisdom teeth out in 2012... general check up in 2008... no record before that lol

Beat that kents

Wife hates me since she has to go about every 6 months and fork out for this and that

Got 4 wisdom teeth out last year. It sucked. Previous checkup was 1991 in primary school. Apart from the wisdom teeth being removed, there was 2 small cavities to fill.
