The reason I ask is because SA Power recommended, "If you are planning to proceed with your SEG installation, we recommend that you start the process for installing the necessary import/export meter immediately, rather than waiting until your SEG installation is in place. The solar install can still be done without it installed, but just means they can't turn your system on until it's installed.
