No upgrade for me today fellas :sadwavey:

That's a very defeatist attitude...upgrades are great! Mine's chugging away like a champ now! :)

Yeah the missus wasn't impressed with an impromptu upgrade but I think she could have lived with it.

I also discovered that my nvme adapter isn't in my spare x16 slot, as I thought it was, so I could have chucked a nic in there anyway.

When I was replacing the plugs a few weekends ago, I noticed the bottom of the PCV valve was all browned, do they ever need replacing and are these worthwhile?

They do die eventually - I replaced on both my EL and BA.

By chance I got that exact item from that exact seller - if you aren't sure on yours then $9 isnt much to waste to ensure you are all good.

If this meme had a couple of toddlers lovingly hauling on the middle dog's ears to represent 'family' it would be complete

I feel that this is something that I'll have to work out for myself but has anyone used an adjustable relief valve for their oil pump, and if so do ya wanna share any info with me/the forum?

Brb taking a pic. In the meantime you can visualise a bolt in the relief cap with a locknut.

Hey puff, have you spoken to HP-Junkie? He may be able to give you an adjustment/pressure setting based on number of turns in of the screw. Would at least give you a close starting point.

If all else fails I have a test rig set up at the moment playing with my pump, you could either send me the relief and I could set it, or if you can get hold of some test equipment I could send you some parts I’ve already made to test it.
