Yep. They aren't excluded from resuming it though. I think we're on the same page anyway. Anyhow this is the off topic thread so moving on... Posted 23/10/18 11:01 PM Share Posted 23/10/18 11:01 PM I'm going to have to remember to buy pop corn when I do food shopping this weekend. We are installing a new phone system this weekend - actually the mob we outsourced it too is - and I just found out that any changes after it's installed are billed @ $170 each - not per hour, EACH change - so I can see us paying close to a grand or more on top of the other monthly costs, plus you would think the IT people would be trained up on how to use everything, right? Nope we get the basic how to use a phone training and the "Champions" who are a few regular staff, do the contact centre stuff, which as I know from when we installed the current system, means it went in one ear and out the other. The Project Managers think that will do, the Champions and Team Leaders will train the staff. So I'm going to sit back with my popcorn and watch the train wreck in slow motion. If they don't listen to people that have been doing this stuff for decades, they can suffer the consequences when the C level's start asking WTF? Posted 24/10/18 12:56 AM Share Posted 24/10/18 12:56 AM It gets better, they have a 24 hour SLA, which means our HR department gets in it the neck when they send new starter forms after 5PM Friday, expecting the 48 hours notice to include the weekend and the outsourcer only get's it Monday morning leaving the staff without a phone until some time Tuesday. Someone really thought that out well. Although I've been complaining about having to run around like a mad bugger on Monday mornings just to fix their f*ck ups for years and won't have to worry about that any more. Is there a "F*ck 'em" emoji Keith?
