Morning!

Friday fly-out day for me :dancing: Housemate moved out this week, as he's moving in with his gf...so flying home to an empty house and need to go shopping for a dining table tomorrow :ermm:

Haha agreed, but it'd leave a giant empty spot in my living area...and I've spent a fair bit of time making it nice now, so can't just bring myself to leave it empty...

haha fair enough.

if it were me, I'd leave it empty until I got a partner with some sense of style to actually choose one haha

I've actually enjoyed figuring this stuff out hey...feedback so far (from female friends) is I ain't doing too bad on the styling front :) I get input from female friends too, so that helps.

I keep joking to the real estate agents that I won't have a problem with furniture or plants.

Every time I go to either mum or dad's, they point out something else "I can have".

So far I have a new bed for the spare bedroom, jarrah dining table and chairs, two different coffee tables, heaps of appliances, soooo many towels and sheets, all sorts of kitchen containers, dinner sets, two metal cabinets for the shed, a lawn mower, whipper snipper, electric chainsaw, blower vac, dad's tools from when he was a carpenter (there's some seriously expensive kit in his trailer, some of the saw's with accessories are the best part of a grand), all sorts of plants I couldn't even begin to pronounce, let alone know what it is (succulents and ferns are about the only two types of plant I know :)) plus dad's boat and trailer.

Moving day is going to be a week long event in my case.

Probably thinking something more modern, as that seems to be the theme through my house. Plus I've got darkish wooden floorboards throughout, so kinda want to go with something lighter I think - be a bit heavy otherwise. Maybe concrete top? Not sure yet...
