Morning all have a great weekend.

Bring up the whole Toilet thing again. This happened on Wednesday and was published yesterday.

It just shows that toilets are not a safe zone.

They were $100k plus when new so I think they're quite cheap now plus they have everything you could ask for. Add a blower or a single turbo setup and it's all win.

I know falcons have their fair share of problems but screw the soarer.

cars are like underpants and most soarers are just worn out and all those electronics are just a nightmare. that being said I know of a few nice ones that are very comfortable criusers.

yeah remind me again what needs to be done to one to make it go fast? don't ya need an entire new ECU with toyotas cause they can't be accessed?

On another note, WA is about to have new hoon laws come into force. It's going to be great, someone does a skid and the cops see em, they realize they now have nothing to lose as their cars going to be permanently seized (no matter who owns it) so they choose to run from the cops/finish their skid and then slam into somebodies home moments after the cops abort the pursuit.

The current laws rarely had repeat offenders. They just needed to catch more people. The discretion should be left to the judge, I freaking hate all this legislation where you get punished before you go to court.

I see your point about there being a possible raised risk of people doing a runner. I don't however agree with your stance on mandatory and immediate punishment.

It is worth noting that police already have discretion about whether or not they want to stop your car and even if they do stop you, whether or not they want to take further action.

As for mandatory immediate licence suspension and car impoundment there are obvious reasons why this is a suitable and preferred method of removing offenders and their vehicles from endangering the general public.

Do you really want people with so little regard for human life and public safety ie; high range drink driving, excessive speed, dangerous driving, unlawful threatening, sex offenders etc (that is not an exhaustive list by any means) to be able to just resume driving or remain a threat once the police give them some paperwork with a court date and leave the scene? Fark no, they need to be dealt with at the time of offence and in some cases removed from society immediately until a court date.

Just my 2c :)
