When we first moved to the current premises, I had to put a heap of shelves together so I bought a rubber mallet.

I used to leave it on my desk with a sticker "ICT Complaints Department" on the handle, if anyone annoyed me, I would look in the direction of the mallet and they would suddenly no longer have a problem :)

I would have to disagree Fluf,  GPS units triangulate off satellites, and as long as you have a decent visible piece of sky above your car they are accurate to within about 0.2 klm per hour!

here is a quick read if you don't believe me

http://www.theglobeandmail.com/globe-drive/culture/commuting/whats-more-accurate-the-cars-speedo-or-the-gps/article4348596/

and here http://gpsinformation.net/main/gpsspeed.htm

Dont believe it.

At least not with the generic normal GPS that majority of people have

Also obviously rims change the speed settings. But trust me... standard rims a new falcon had a 2km difference.

Knew it from driving a bunch of brand new ford's when I worked there...and

My multiple speeding fines vs freshly calibrated gun says that's spot on bahahah

Mine is ~3.5km/h out at 100.

Was spot on when I ran 45 profile rather than 35 profile tyres.

It's true Ford Australia list the FG series Turbo in the technical information as recorded speed of 98km/h when the dash is showing 100km/h and stays 2km/h out until 117kmh then slides around the place after that

Expensive Daewoo list the VF platform as 99km/h at 100km/h dash

at least it's on the right side of the mark hey
