Well, my ball joint tool is arriving tomorrow. Finally I can get my car off the axle stand and go for a drive!

I always joke to the father in law that I'll have some job for us to do when he comes over.

They are arriving tomorrow around lunch time and that's when the mail arrives too.

Looks like we'll be fixing my car

Just dont pay it...doesnt affect your qld licence. Will only affect you if you go back to vic and get pulled over again, they will see the unpaid fine against you in Vic.

You also shouldnt get any demerit points taken for it either as it was in another state.

Easy to contest though as you can say you didnt know thr area and got confused etc etc. Play the whole out of state game, if you have decent record it wont get a 2nd look

Not true at all. I got a nsw fine in nsw and had to oay and the points came off and it worked the same as normal lol

And also... coz im in the know with a few people can confirm actual records like police checks etc are not linked.... u need to issue a request to see peoples records. however driving offences and departments do link when a person has an offence interstate as they register the demerits against your licence number which is accessible by any state for the issuing authority

Are all the boxes filled in correctly?

Any discrepancy voids the infringement notice.

licence number begins with a zero, no zero on infringement notice.

Does that count?
