Posted 25/10/16 11:52 PM Share Posted 25/10/16 11:52 PM I've always wondered if you go through a red because a truck is up your backside & would go through you otherwise, if you could use that as an excuse in court?Especially if the red light camera catches both vehicles & in Wait aWhile's case they pick up the speed too, if it shows no way the truck would stop in time due to it's speed & would surely cause an accident, is there any leeway?I've seen plenty of truck versus car accidents & it never seems to end well for the car. BBcause each state make money off rego, license, fines, if it was national it would have to be a federal law and federal rego, federal license, and federal fines = no state revenue and no state funding of roads etc. Bright spark. Worst I saw in terms of truck vs car was some old people slam on the brake as soon as some lights on leach hwy went yellow and a truck slammed the brakes on which caused a huge ploom of smoke to engulf their car thanks to the wind direction. Do you think that ever since the red light and speed cameras came out that people just slam the brakes for a yellow light now? it's very dangerous...I almost rear ended a car that slammed the brakes on and stopped in the middle of an intersection last year. I still wonder whose fault that would be, lucky I don't drive too close to people. I just heard today that UWA has done some research about how a strictly enforced speed limit is actually dangerous. https://www.scimex.org/newsfeed/stricter-speed-enforcement-can-impair-driver-safety Edited 26/10/16 01:12 AM by skidxr6t
