Posted 21/10/16 08:17 AM Share Posted 21/10/16 08:17 AM This might be a stupid question but can you put the fuel filter in back to front?I have had rough idle since a little bit after having the filter changed by Auto Masters. I cleaned the throttle body, then at the last service MT found a faulty spark plug & changed it. That didn't solve the problem, so they thought it might be injector related. As they are always busy, too save some time I took it to a place that took them out, ultrasonically cleaned them & the fuel rail & flow tested them. They came up 100%.The guy went above & beyond for service, he also took the fuel filter off & swapped it around, which is when he noticed a huge improvement & I have too, even with throttle response. A flipped filter will just dump its guts into your injectors.
