I wondered when this would start happening:

Work's had USB drives mysteriously found out the front of the building, usually from third party penetration testers (we don't get told when this happens) but our staff are sick and tired of all the security awareness training and hand them in to the appropriate staff :)

If the crooks were smart they'll have those USB's so everything appears legitimate however certain chips on the motherboard have been reprogrammed. Obviously they are not very sophisticated if one needs to click something once inserting the USB.

 

Amateurs. A pro would have it so the user doesn't draw a connection between the free USB drive they received and the malware.

 

(if you have no idea what I mean by reprogramming chips, google 'bad usb')

that's seem a little high. New or used?

 

Anywah went to the house today walked in the painters were in the garage. He looks at me like who's this, then says your right.

Me: yeah mate.

Painter: Here to do somework.

Me: Nope.

Painter: then what you want.

Me: Im the home owner and just having a look.

Painter: dont think so mate you cant be here an dyou need shoes.

Me: Oh ok thanks wont be long and I walked up stairs.

 

All of 3min and heading back to the car painter goes have a nice day. Thank bro I will.

Made me laugh.
