That's a lot of pc for 2 tracks of audio as well haha! Spose you could chuck a lot of effects on without getting bad dropouts etc

It's more about how it runs. So Windows and apps run off the SSD boot drive, the recording sessions record and save to one of the 7,200rpm drives, my virtual sampled instrument libraries (drums, piano etc) run off the other 7,200rpm drive, and then I've got the other data drives for tv shows and sh*t.

And yeah, with the grunt of it I can load up on plugins (effects) and virtual instruments without the pc getting bogged down and throwing errors during playback.

Nice gear stripes, I swear you been sounding more positive since you've been given the space to set it all up.

Cheers mate. Yeah, I'm actually pretty happy now that I'll have my own space and can start doing my own thing. Last time I had my studio all setup I was severely depressed and not in the right headspace to want to write and be creative, so didn't use it. But since I've been in a better headspace I haven't had the space to set the gear up and enjoy it. So I'm looking forward to it, even just starting off doing some covers of stuff to play around and get back into it.

Ever seen jizz get chopped up at 100,000rpm?  Not pretty.
