Yeah once you start doing something you've never been involved with it gets interesting..

Personally though I like it cause the company I woke for used to let us cut our throat on job types we'd never done just to get the experience..

Sounds familiar...site access can kill when you suddenly need traffic control a dogman and a bigger crane because site access has been restricted, I would have hated it before Google street view when you couldnt tell what power lines etc were going to be in the way without a site visit.

But I knock off at 4.30 come hell or high water...I get paid for the hours I work.

^^ Yep.. The worst part is guessing the type of machinery and how productive the crew will be in a shift..

I also get paid for the hours I work though.. Anything beyond 152 in a month is money in the bank..

Joys of being in the bush, large diurnal range. Also big contrast in temps between seasons, cold and pleasant in winter, hot as fark in summer!
