Yeah I know, and even though I don't ride my bike much (haven't ridden it in 3 months) it was my first treat I bought myself once I started working full-time after uni. I own it outright, so it owes me nothing, which I guess is why it makes more sense for me to sell it rather than the GT...plus a car is more practical, the bike was only ever a toy. Just scary...feels like I'm getting older and making responsible choices and shiet...who'd a thunk it?

I'll second that...

<-dickhead 44 and a mortgage thats fricken killing me with another 20 years to go till its paid off... :suicide:

Whats worse is the fact there a brand new houses round here that rent for 1/2 what I'm paying a week, but taking that route is just putting cash in somebody else's pockets.

Yeh its a tuff slog sometimes but clearly one good option to at least have a chance of retirement and being self sufficient and do a few of the things like travel or buy that caravan

Looking very strongly at buying another with our superannuation but throwing it into positive gear to complete payments of a full mortgage ~300k in 8 years and rinse and repeat after that

I was different..

While 1-4 year apprentice I sunk bulk $$ into super..

Now I still sink money into super.. No house.. But early retirement is possible..

Self managing a good chunk of my super now also for fun..
